The sixth episode of Genesis Block's Thematic Analysis series focuses on Real World Assets.
From the point of view of an insider, it may seem as if the Web3 space is moving at warp speed, with a Cambrian explosion of innovation in all directions -- L1s, L2s, infrastructure, NFTs, DeFi, GameFi, and so on.
But the fact remains that the majority of the value on-chain is generated by "crypto money games", with little to no influence on the physical world. For blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies to really fulfil its potential in a meaningful manner, as an industry, we are going to have to move towards a reality where assets in the physical world interoperate with the on-chain world.
